Winding The Maypole

I recently discovered this strange website curated by late Barbara Marlow Irwin called Winding the Maypole. Mrs Irwin collected Maypole-related postcards, since she was born on May 1st, which is also Maypole winding day.

She then added pictures that her husband Lyndon Irwin brought back from California. Pictures of various celebrations occuring in May, such as the Garland Dance or the Minuet.
